Vice President, Corporate Work Study
Cristo Rey Richmond High School is a Catholic learning community that educates young people of limited economic means to become men and women of faith, purpose and service. Through a rigorous college preparatory curriculum, integrated with a relevant work study experience, students graduate ready to succeed in college and in life. Cristo Rey Richmond High School is a part of the largest network of high schools in the country that exclusively serve families of limited economic means.
OVERVIEW OF THE OPPORTUNITY
Cristo Rey High School located in Richmond, Virginia employs a unique, proven educational model that prepares limited economically resourced youth for college and career. Nationally, in our network of 40 schools, 100% of our students are accepted into college compared to the public school rate of 47%, of their peer group. Currently, there are 225 students here in Richmond, with plans to grow the enrollment to 350+.

S/he must have a background in sales and the management of sales professionals, general management, and at the same time have a strong desire to coach and train urban young people. Must have strong written and oral communication skills and be a mission and data-driven, collaborative leader that enjoys working on a high performing team and who is called to the mission of providing a pathway to college and careers for students from their metro area.
The Vice President of Corporate Work Study is responsible for:
· Securing work-study jobs for all enrolled students at local companies
· Overseeing the placement, training, supervision, transportation and evaluation of our students at these firms.
· Owning and nurturing the relationship with the corporate sponsors with the goal of renewing sponsors for the following year
· Supervising staff and volunteers.
· Overseeing all matters of legal compliance
· Ad hoc projects assigned by the President.
PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES & MEASURES
- Secure / maintain jobs for 100% of enrolled students for the entire school year.
- Achieve a minimum of 90% paid jobs at the prevailing market rate for entry level positions.
- Achieve a minimum of 90% retention rate for existing jobs
- Develop strategies and tactical plans to secure / maintain jobs for 100% of the students at the projected full capacity enrollment of 300.
