Dr. Travis Wilkins is a two time alumni of Virginia Union University where he obtained he Bachelors of Arts in Religious Studies and His Masters of Divinity from The Samuel Dewitt Proctor of Theology. Additionally, Dr. Wilkins obtained his Doctorate of Biblical Counseling from North Carolina Theological Seminary and is a licensed Exceptional Education Teacher and Board Certified Christian Counselor. Professionally, Dr. Wilkins has over 15 years of working with Youth in various capacities in both the K-12 and Collegiate setting. Dr. Wilkins has served as a middle school teacher for 7 years, an Academic Advisor, Professor, and Director of a group home as well as Tutor Counselor for the Upward Bound Program, a Pre-College Preparatory program for low socioeconomic first generation college bound students. Dr. Wilkins’ personal educational pedagogy is “When you build relationships, you get results” and his goal is to bring the best out of every student he comes in contact with.
