Mario Sultan, a Florida native, graduated from Florida Tech with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. He joined the Cristo Rey team in 2021 as a Corporate Work Study Program volunteer as part of the Bon Secours Volunteer Ministry. Mr. Sultan came to Cristo Rey with close to two years of engineering experience when he decided to pivot and pursue a year of full-time service. A year later, he started teaching Physics and Engineering! When Mr. Sultan is not teaching, he is listening to good music and cycling around Richmond, backpacking, kayaking, or working on a cool project.
