Sra. Heather Hemstreet was born and raised in Hanover County, VA. She has been teaching Spanish to middle and high school Spanish for 20+ years in the Richmond area. She married her husband, Marc, in 1995 and has two sons in college: one is a VT Hokie, the other is a JMU Duke. Sra. Hemstreet is a self-proclaimed “crazy cat lady” (currently has three at home), and enjoys walks with her high-energy terrier, Ruby, when she isn't watching soccer with Marc! Sra. Hemstreet was drawn to CRRHS by its mission and is humbled and honored to be a part of the lives of the scholars at Cristo Rey Richmond High School.
