Cristo Rey students engage in coursework designed to prepare them for success in college and beyond.
The Cristo Rey Richmond curriculum is designed and taught to prepare students for success in college. The faculty works closely with each student to help them develop a skillset that focuses on effective communication, complex reasoning, precision and accuracy, persistence teamwork and collaboration, initiative and self-direction, and productivity and accountability.
Through the use of standards that prepare student for college-level courses, effective teaching styles that make learning engaging and possible, and instruction that is informed by routine classroom assessments, Cristo Rey schools maximize the academic achievements of their students.
Cristo Rey’s goal is “To and Through College”. Nationwide, Cristo Rey has 100% college acceptance of its graduates, 90% college enrollment, and our students are graduating college 2.5x more than their peers.

All students must also complete two years of Student Success and four years of the Corporate Work Study Program.
