Our doors are open.

The founding Class of 2023 still needs your support!

After more than three years of hard work and careful preparation, we are counting down to the day we open wide the doors to Cristo Rey Richmond High School!

Meeting our $5MM fundraising goal will ensure that our classrooms are fully remodeled, our teachers have the technology and resources they need, and opportunities like LEAP Summer Training Camp are 100% funded. There are several ways you can make a difference:

Countdown to Cristo Rey

1. Make a direct donation.

Your contribution, whatever amount, will help transform the Richmond community. A $1,000 gift will provide up to five Google Chromebooks or five school uniforms for our incoming freshmen!

4. Become an Angel Funder.

The Cristo Rey model works financially because students earn 60% of the cost of their education through the Corporate Work Study Program. Families make a modest tuition contribution up to $2,000 per year, based on their ability to pay. The balance comes from generous benefactors like you. Scholarship support ensures that we can keep Cristo Rey Richmond affordable for our all of our families.

We need benefactors to bridge the gap between what the students earn, what their families can afford to pay, and the cost of a quality Cristo Rey education. You can become a Cristo Rey Richmond Scholarship Partner or “Angel Funder” with a gift of $5,000. Your $5,000 contribution will serve as a Cristo Rey Scholarship for one student for one year.

You can also help by providing funds to “Angel Fund” the difference between $2,000 and what families can afford.

We are also working with families, foundations and corporations for funds to help “Angel Fund” a group of students to work in one of our local non-profits. This cost is $34,000 for 2019-20 and provides this wonderful opportunity for a group of four students to experience the nonprofit workplace. Please reference "Angel Fund" in the Note section of your donation.
