Dear Prospective Students and Families,
Thank you for considering Cristo Rey Richmond High School. We are so pleased that you are considering applying to Richmond’s most innovative educational opportunity.
The application for the 2023-2024 school year will open on October 1, 2023. We will be accepting applications for students entering the 9th and students who wish to transfer into the 10th grade. Unfortunately, we do not accept transfers into our 11th or 12th-grade classes.
Cristo Rey Richmond is an affordable, co-ed, Catholic high school committed to academic excellence for students of all faiths. We strive to develop each student’s full potential amid an atmosphere of mutual respect for the religious and cultural heritage of each student. Our students work hard, form close friendships, and give back to their community.
As part of our Corporate Work Study Program, Cristo Rey Richmond students work in a professional setting five days each month. Students’ earnings from our business partners contribute a large portion of their tuition.
Cristo Rey Richmond recognizes the unique challenges presented by our model of education. The ideal Cristo Rey Richmond student is eager to work in a professional setting and willing to work hard in the classroom. Cristo Rey Richmond students and families are invested in learning and experiencing what students must do to be admitted to and graduate from a four-year college or university.
